Working with children with special needs and having a typically developing child of my own has taught me this: Children give us a hard time, no matter what. I offer this forum to parents who feel overwhelmed in dealing with anything hard about parenting from their child's behavior issues to successful toilet training. I've earned 2 Masters Degrees in Education and Special education. For 10 years I’ve worked as an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapist and supervisor. I currently evaluate children to determine the presence of developmental delays. I believe in adopting practical practices that improve the quality of the parenting experience.
